Counselling and talking therapies are psychological treatments for mental and emotional problems like stress, anxiety and depression. There are lots of different types of talking therapy, but they all involve working with a trained therapist or counsellor. This may be one-to-one, in a group, online, over the phone, with your family, or with your partner. The therapist or counsellor helps you understand and cope with the problems you're having.
Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership offer a range of talking therapy services which are provided by different organisations. To make sure that these services are right for our population, we are carrying out a review of these services. We have asked Leeds Beckett University to work with us on this review.
We would like to understand what has worked well for you, what needs to be improved and how we can ensure we have the right counselling and therapeutic support available for children, young people and adults living in Bradford District and Craven.
Please complete the survey to share your views on counselling and therapeutic support services.
