Bradford District and Craven is one of five 'places' that make up the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership (along with Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield).
To ensure the voice of people is central to the work that happens at West Yorkshire level, they have asked Healthwatch (the independent health and social care champion) to develop a network to feed directly into decisions made about health and care.
West Yorkshire Voice is a network that will bring together individuals, groups, local panels, networks, and organisations to ensure the voice of people is at the heart of health and care decision-making in West Yorkshire. It will complement the work that we do to involve people in Bradford District and Craven, and give local people an opportunity to be heard on decisions made at West Yorkshire.
The Citizen Forum Steering Group for Bradford District and Craven is closely connected to West Yorkshire Voice, and the insight we collect locally from our Listen in programme, engagement networks and people's feedback on their experiences of care, will also feed up to West Yorkshire as well as being used to shape our local plans and services.
Who can join West Yorkshire Voice?
The aim of West Yorkshire Voice is to reflect the diverse population and communities from across West Yorkshire. The network hopes to include:
Individuals
Community groups and organisations
Existing networks and panels in local places

Voluntary sector organisations

It's important that people from Bradford District and Craven have a strong voice at West Yorkshire.
