Men's Health
We’ve been out and about listening to men across Bradford District and Craven talking about health, work, and life’s ups and downs. This page shares what we’ve heard so far and gives you a chance to add your voice. You can read the report here:- Listen in report - men from white working-class communities
What we’ve heard
Men told us about the pressures of work and money, frustration with getting GP or dental appointments, and the importance of family, mates and local support. Many said they “just get on with it” until things reach crisis point.
Let’s keep the conversation going

Many thanks - most of your findings coincide with my experience of living and working in the large, mostly white, urban estate of Holme Wood for 26 years. The challenge faced by primary health care agencies in such communities is also a key factor,
