Feedback on MaST
Management and Supervision Tool (MaST) is designed to assist you in analysing mental health data from various sources to support decision-making that aligns with the needs of service users, as well as supporting you to determine the likely resources required to provide safe and effective care. It utilises a 'risk of crisis' algorithm to identify patients who are most likely to need psychiatric hospital admission or home treatment, due to severe mental illness.
The Trust launched the tool in early June and it has been rolled out across Community Mental Health Teams, Early Intervention in Psychosis and Older Adults teams. One of the ways we will be measuring the outcomes of MaST is through staff feedback.
