Working together within an ICS
About this event
The changes proposed in legislation provide an opportunity for us to build on the good engagement happening locally and develop a joined-up approach to involving people and communities.
The West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is a new organisation that will start work in July 2022. Although it is a new organisation, it replaces Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and will build on successful work by all our health and care organisations, including the CCGs, over the last five years.
The ICB will oversee how money is spent and make sure that health services work well and are of high quality. The ICB brings together partners from five ‘places’: Bradford District and Craven; Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds, and Wakefield.
Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership will make decisions about ICB functions and resources at ‘place’ level.
This workshop will be a chance to hear more about the development of our local place-based partnership and think about how we can involve people and communities in the new arrangements.
We hope to see you there.
You can learn more about the ICS by visiting the NHS website.
